We had a lovely sunny day in the Czech Republic; it was just right for tyre testing. The tyre that the team has used in previous years is no longer available - we had a couple of different rim sizes to try, to see which would work best. The Mali Jawa team have a new sponsor for 2008; CEZ a Czech electricity company - the bikes look really good in their new orange and white livery. Everything went well and it was fantastic to get under the lap record in the first session on track. |

I smiled inside my helmet, and thought to myself -
Later in the day, I got to spend a few laps together out on track with
Libor Junior -'Fast Vincent' as he's known. I think everyone is looking forward to the first round at Assen in a couple of weeks - I'll be looking for the race win, not riding to keep out of the way, like last time when Mark Lawes' championship title was at stake. |

I would like to thank Phil Daw of Neatafan, one of my personal sponsors. It is only through the generous support of people like Phil that I am able to go racing at all. Cheers Phil! |
